Annual dues statements were mailed in early January 2010.  Annual dues of $410 were due March 5th. A late fee now applies whether paying dues or authorizing rental.  The $20 late fee began March 5th and increases to $50 on May 1st.  Please include $20 if you are renting your share or dues + late fee of $430 if you plan to use the club this summer and your envelope is postmarked by May 1st.  If you have any questions or if your dues statement has been misplaced, please email gwomack@viennawoods.org.

Rental letters were mailed to the top half of our wait list and were due March 1st.  If you are still interested in a summer rental, please mail or fax your letter right away.  Rental applications will be mailed around March 15th.

The Spring Stockholder meeting will be held Saturday, April 24th at 4pm at the club, rain or shine.  If you are unable to attend, please return your proxy card with your dues payment or rental designation.

The Fall Stockholder meeting was held Saturday, September 26th.  There were three motions voted upon and all were passed.
Motion 1: Re-elected Joe Alonso, Alan Currin, Lem Forrest and A.J.Oskuie each to another three year term to serve on the Board of Directors.  Thanks for your continued service!
Motion 2: Approved a dues increase from $390 to $410 dollars beginning in 2010.  
Motion 3: Gives the board discretion to charge an annual fee not to exceed $50 when a member requests their share be rented.  
Please note, that the board has voted not to charge a $50 fee to rent your share for the summer of 2010.  You may rent your share at no cost, as long as you designate your wish to rent no later than March 5, 2010 (after which time the appropriate late fee will apply).

The Vienna Woods winter swim program is full.  The program runs from Sunday, September 27th until Sunday May 9th at 3pm at the Dunn Loring YMCA.  Please click on swim and swim team for the schedule or to add your name to the winter swim waitlist.  Unfortunately, it does not appear that any additional slots will be available at this time.

The tennis courts are open year round, weather permitting. Three of the five courts are lighted.  

Special Events:  Our special events planners, Karen Giger and Benita Carr, are already looking ahead to another fun summer at Vienna Woods.  Our past events have been very well attended and big success!   As soon as the 2010 calendar is available it will be posted here.  To get an idea of the events offered in the summer of 2009, please click here.

For 2010, an Updated Emergency Medical Authorization Form will be required.  An emergency medical authorization form for children under 18 is required. You can print the form by going to the Forms section. Please mail the completed form to the address at the top of the form.  The form is included in the dues statement and rental application mailing.
