Membership Info

Community Ventures of Vienna, Inc. (trade name Vienna Woods Swim & Tennis Club) requires the purchase or rental of a share of stock in Community Ventures of Vienna, Inc. Membership entitles you to use of the pool during the summer and the tennis courts year round. Share owners have voting privileges in club management decisions and the right to serve on the Board of Directors, the governing body of the Club. The cost to purchase a share is listed below. A one-time non-refundable Initiation Fee is charged at the time of purchase. In addition to the one-time share payment, members must pay annual dues or designate that their share be rented by March 5th each year. The value of the share is determined by the Board of Directors annually in October and has risen over time. All fees are subject to change by the time a wait list applicant purchases or rents a membership.





Join our Waitlist/New Member Pricing

Vienna Woods has a limit of 750 total memberships. The wait list is very long (over 800 families) and the wait to purchase a membership is estimated at 10 years for those getting on the list now. We are currently selling shares to families that were added to the waitlist in Fall 2015. While this may seem like a long wait to purchase if you are just now signing up, after a few summers, we may be able to offer you a rental membership while you are on the wait list to purchase a share. Rentals were offered to families added to the wait list to purchase between Fall 2015 and Winter 2021. The good news is that once you have been offered a rental, the chance of getting one in subsequent years is excellent. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable but applies to the $125 Initiation Fee, charged at the time of purchase. An email will be sent to confirm receipt of your check and placement of your name on the wait list to purchase a share. Once a name is entered on the list, the applicant remains on the list until eventually rising to the top and being offered a membership to purchase. Our Club does not skip names on the list or change the position of the names after they have been entered. If the applicant declines the purchase when offered, the name is removed from the wait list. Non-Use Fee

The non-use/rental designation fee is shown below and only available if there is an interested renter. If paid after March 5th, dues or rental designations are subject to a $50 late fee. If paid after April 15th, the late fee increases to $75. Please reach out to Membership to apply.
