Community Ventures of Vienna, Inc., trade name Vienna Woods Swim and Tennis Club, founded in 1959, is an outdoor swim and tennis facility located on six acres in southwest Vienna. The pool facility, with an entrance at Harmony and Plum streets, SW, consists of a 50-meter pool. The main pool has two one-meter diving boards and a three-meter-high dive. A full-service snack bar is adjacent to the bathhouse. There is also a large picnic grove with shaded tables and swings, a sandbox and a sand volleyball court. The club competes in the Northern Virginia Swim League and offers competitive swimming and diving opportunities for children through age 18.
There are five tennis courts, three of which are lighted year-round, (2 non-lighted courts include pickelball lines) and are located at 950 Desale Street. Junior and adult tennis programs typically begin in early spring and continue into the fall under the direction of our tennis pro. Vienna Woods is a member of the Northern Virginia Tennis League.

Vienna Woods takes Member, Renter. and Guest safety as first priority, Everyone except guards and staff must exit the facility if lightning is seen or thunder is heard. There is a 30 minutes wait before allowing operations to resume. If there is another clap of thunder or lightning is seen again, the clock is restarted. Should the National Weather Service issue a Severe Thunderstorm or Tornado Warning all operations shall be stopped during the duration of the warning. Weather alerts post to the club’s Facebook Page and/or the banner at the top of the website page.
